Design Shenzhen Design Roadshows Arrives in Xiamen, Inspiring Cross-Boundary Dialogue

On 21 August 2025, Design Shenzhen made its way to Xiamen, partnering with Jiwushe and the Louvre Art Center to host a Designers’ Salon. Held at UGA Design, the event brought together leading experts and designers to share insights, explore case studies, and engage in open dialogue on the multidimensional value of design across practice, lifestyle, and business.

Three distinguished design guests shared their perspectives: Jie Hu, Founder of GOJOIN DESIGN; Junhong Huang, Founder of ARKITAG STUDIO; and Xiaoyi Zhang, Founder of E.W DESIGN and Co-founder of Jiwushe. Their presentations covered practical applications, lifestyle aesthetics, and business models, offering the audience fresh and thought-provoking perspectives. In addition, Weiliang Yao from the Louvre Art Center, together with Shaoqun Chen, Chairman of Jiwushe, Jiahong Sun, Vice Chairman of Jiwushe, and Xizhou Wang, Secretary General of Jiwushe, addressed the audience, welcoming designers from across the country and expressing their commitment to promoting industry exchange and innovation.

The successful Design Roadshow not only injected new energy into Design Shenzhen but also created a valuable platform for cross-regional dialogue among designers. Looking ahead, Design Shenzhen will continue to expand into more cities, fostering deeper integration between design and industry and exploring new possibilities for design within society and the marketplace. From 18 to 21 September 2025, Design Shenzhen will return to the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre, presenting cutting-edge design achievements and cross-disciplinary collaborations, and looks forward to reuniting with industry peers.
