As Design Shenzhen 2025 came to a close, six standout curatorial projects continued to resonate with visitors, each revealing how design and technology intertwine to redefine the way we live, work and connect. Let’s revisit the most inspiring features that shaped this year’s show.
E-Space — Fusing personalisation and versatility, this immersive feature redefined the future of home esports spaces. By breaking the boundaries between design and technology, E-Space showcased how modular design and smart integration can create new-generation gaming environments tailored for the digital age. Re:Materialize — Encouraging designers to rethink materials from the outset, this project promoted the concept of “designing with materials in mind”. Through aesthetic reinvention and innovative application, Re:Materialize advanced the conversation around sustainability and material creativity.

WellForm — This life-sized model presented a holistic approach to wellness in luxury living. From structural materials to air and water purification, acoustic and lighting control, and smart home systems, WellForm demonstrated a complete, wellness-centred residential design solution. "madedit" — At madedit, manufacturing became an act of creation. The feature explored how modularity, adaptability, and customisation empower the future of Chinese manufacturing — where every object can be freely composed, personalised and redefined.

GOOD DESIGN SELECT — Under the theme “The Height of Design”, this exhibition presented the G-Mark Best 100 award-winning works, celebrating global design excellence and inspiring visitors to re-examine how good design shapes contemporary life. WELLCONNECT — Partnering with Cambridge-based innovation company DavidHugh, WELLCONNECT built a sensory space that explored the synergy between wellness and technology. The immersive “House that Breathes” embodied the rhythm of light and life, offering visitors a meditative journey through future health-oriented living.
