With 20 years’ experience in luxury residential and hospitality design, Debra's design process carefully balances brand objectives while celebrating each location's unique spirit. As studio lead of LW Design Hong Kong, she guides a talented team in creating immersive environments for some of the world's most prestigious hotel brands.
Since joining LW, she has been helping shape notable properties such as the W Hotel Residences Abu Dhabi, Fairmont Clocktower Mecca, Le Royal Meridien Resort Dubai, Melco Resorts and Entertainment Macau and wellness focused projects and private villas in Middle East and South East Asia.
A LEED, Material Health & Wellness and Feng Shui certified professional, Debra champions sustainable luxury, integrating responsible specifications and biophilic principles without compromising on aesthetic excellence. Her passion lies in collaborating with local artisans to create bespoke features that infuse a sense of place to each project whilst preserving traditional craftsmanship through contemporary applications.
Prior to joining LW Design, Debra contributed to landmark projects with Marriott, Hilton, Dorchester Collection and IHG across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar establishing new benchmarks for hospitality and branded residences. Her portfolio in super prime residential interior architecture spans London, New York, Dubai and Africa and has similarly advanced the discourse on collectible design through its fusion of artisanal traditions and technological innovations.
At LW Design Hong Kong, Debra works in close collaboration with the firm's Dubai and Denmark studios, supporting the practice's global hospitality vision. Her projects consistently achieve that delicate balance between memorable guest experiences, aesthetic sophistication with operational intelligence. creating spaces that feel both extraordinary and authentically rooted in their location.
Debra's approach continues to evolve through ongoing research into emerging design and hospitality trends, material innovations, and cross-cultural creative dialogues - always with the goal of creating spaces that resonate emotionally while exceeding global hospitality standards.
